The Valpovo Summer Running League 2026 has wrapped up with its tenth round, and the numbers speak for themselves: 275 participants lined up at the start — 120 women and 155 men — a new league record.
Together we ran 3,590 kilometers: women 1,452.5 and men 2,137.5. On average, 101 participants ran in each round, with the highest turnout in round IV — 120.
The youngest runners were the most numerous: 117 participants were 20 years old or younger. There was a 76-year gap between the youngest and oldest runner on the podium — one was born in 2021, the other in 1945.
Not even the heat stopped us: the average temperature at the start was 30.5 °C, with a high of 36 °C.
